The 2023 Ford Super Duty line of heavy-duty pickup trucks promise more power, more engine choices, and more special features. Although Ford hasn’t shared all of the details of its new lineup, it continues to be tailored to commercial customers who want capability and familiarity.
The 6.2-liter gas V8 engine that was standard on the F-250 and F-350 has been replaced by a new 6.8-liter V8. Ford says its 7.3-liter gas V8 gets an improved air intake design and tuning for better torque and more horsepower. The 6.7-liter, turbocharged 'Power Stroke' diesel V8 carries over and is joined by a new high-output diesel engine option. Horsepower details have not been released. An optional tailgate down camera and reverse sensing system that works when the tailgate is in the lowered position is new. AEB and FCW will only be available on certain trims. Adaptive cruise control and lane centering assistance are optional.

The F-350 Super Duty is a heavy-duty truck for towing or hauling heavy loads. The ride is stiffer and snappier than in the F-150, but slightly better than some of its competitors.
Engines include a diesel V8, a gas V8. Stepping into the cabin is difficult because of the high floor. Integrated into the tailgate is an optional folding stepladder, which is a nice touch. Other conveniences include built-in wiring for accessories and built-in controls for proportional braking when towing a trailer. Handling is very clumsy even for a heavy-duty truck.
